My current version is 2.7 and I’m using Indy Premium.

I have read tons of topics on shortening the posts on the main page. I have a stickied post and the rest show up when I add a new post. Which is what I want. BUT, all posts including the stickied post is only showing a 55 word teaser with ONLY this after word 55 ” […] ” It isn’t even a hyper-link . . . WorldEnglishClub.com

I want to show the whole post. At least for my stickied post. I can seem to find everything that shows me how to do this but not how to reverse it. haha

I have not changed anything in my php’s or anything that might have to do with this other than taking out the date stamp.

If you can please give me some guidance on this it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Edit the template for your theme’s main page and replace all instances of the_excerpt with the_content().

Thank you esmi. I was adding the two () after the_content…..and it wasn’t working out for me. But I got it now.

Sadly it brings up a whole other set of issues. So I don’t know if the theme was made like that on purpose or what. I need to learn more php

Thank you this helped me a lot!!!
