Hi, I’m using Astra free currently (not sure that matters).

The available Page Layout options in the Elementor page builder Page Settings are:

    – Default
    – Elementor Canvas
    – Elementor Full Width

On my homepage design I have my own big header, but would still like to use the normal sitewide theme footer.

Do I need a new Page Layout option for this? And if so, how would I create one?

    Thanks

  • If you wish to show your default Header/footer of your theme.
You may choose the Default option within Elementor (editor).

If your question is different please describe the issue with more details.

    Hi David,

Yes my question is different – sorry if I didn’t explain properly.

I wish to use the theme footer sitewide, but omit the header on the homepage, since I have designed a special unique header for the homepage.

Thanks I hope that is clear enough.

If you wish to show a different header for a specific page while using your theme’s footer, unfortunately, there is no built-in way to that in the basic version of Elementor.

    Hi xroox,

    try this:
    1. elementor full width

    2. scoll down to astra setting
    now Disable Primary Header

    or try this:
    https://wpastra.com/docs/how-to-disable-primary-header/

    regards
