  • I think an alternative price for an order would be difficult to calculate. A basket may contain several items of which some maybe discounted, and others not. Coupons may apply to one case and not the other, and shipping cost may vary with order value in some setups.

    Hi Lorro,

Thanks for the response. I agree that there are some variations because there could be more than 1 item in the basket. But here’s a simple example:

Let’s say item A’s regular price is $10, and is discounted to $8. It properly shows both these amounts on the front end, but on the back end it just displays: Item A – $8. (no sign of the $10).

    Problems with this:
    1. Admin would never know that this item is on sale
    2. Admin have to manually crosscheck purchased items with actual products on sale, which will be a pain if you have thousands of products.

    I hope this clarifies ??

Am I the only having this issue? I thought this is a major flaw in woocommerce. Unless there’s a simple setting that I can toggle on/off.

    Thank you.
