    Hi,
I have a webshop that you can see at the link above. I should add new products but I have one criterion. The product I want to add must not be purchased directly (medical cosmetics that are purchased with the prior approval of a doctor).

Can I advertise these items in the webshop only as a “catalog” and in same time keep existing webshop fully functional? Which option do you suggest? Some plugin? Or to create a new website with layout as a catalog format?
    Thank you all.
    Valentino

  • Hi Valentino!

I found a plugin that could be useful to your case: the Advanced Catalog Mode for WooCommerce. With this plugin, you can select to display your product(s) as a catalog, hiding the Add to Cart button and replacing it with a contact form where your users can submit their requirements through a pop-up window. All of this while maintaining your webshop functionality.

You can check more about it here: https://woocommerce.com/products/hide-price-add-to-cart-button.

If you have any pre-sales questions about that plugin, you can ask them at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you for your fast response. If I understand correctly – with this plugin I can keep “normal” webshop “add to cart” and add “contact me” option at one place/page? (I mean webshop)

The plugin documentation states that you can keep your webshop as usual, with the Add to Cart button, and add the catalog option, with the contact form, to specific products you want.

You can check it here: https://woocommerce.com/document/hide-price-add-to-cart-button/.

Anyway, while we are experts on our products, third-party plugins are best supported by their developers (and more importantly, I prefer not to give you any incorrect information).

That is why we suggest you contact the plugin support team for further assistance on your pre-sales questions.

You can contact them at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/.

    Cheers!
