how to show product images in search and change default theme search

  • when i search in the default theme search ,it finds products but it does not show the images of the products , how to enable it?

    and how can i use different search plug in in default search field
    all search plug ins that i tried works only as a widget and not in the default theme search field (even if most of them say that replace the default them search for example the AJAX SEARCH LITE

    You can enable the featured image in the search page by change the code in the file search.php line 18 to

    'media_hide' => 0,

    About the search plugin, you can use their widget then drag & drop it to the sidebar, or use their shortcode to show to the header by put the shortcode to the button HTML in Customizer -> Header -> HTML 1
