How to show post modified date in Google

I want to show the modified date in google search results. I am using modified date site wide but when using review using the plugin, it displays published date instead.

So I want to show just the modified date.

Also, some sites are using published date tag but the date is actually modified date. While this one shows the modified date.

Is there any difference? Is using the modified date like this cause any issue with SEO? Just trying to get your opinion. You have already done enough by helping with this one, so no need to reply.

And I should have no issue updating the plugin right?

There is no issue using the modified date in the review schema if there is an issue the Google testing tool will show an error or warning.

In case of the future update, I have added this task in our to-do list and we will provide a perfect solution for this in the future update.
