How to show order Description on Paypal side

    When I get the Notification of Payment Received, the description is blank. It tells me the amount for the order but no details of what was ordered. How can I get it to show this information?

    Hey there!

    This is the case with PayPal (and basically all payment methods). WooCommerce and other ecommerce platforms send the amount to be charged, and that is all, in comparison with doing an invoice inside of PayPal that lists all the products, etc.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

    I actually got a solution from support on the woo website. It seems this plugin does send the line items of an order to Paypal which is shown as Description in the Paypal notification emails. However some of mine were appearing blank because I had checked the setting to hide these descriptions if there were discrepancies without realising it would happen quite so frequently.
