how to show only posts from a specific category on the front page

    I love the theme, but I was wondering if there is some code I could add that would allow me to show just one type of post on the front page. For instance, can I show only posts with the category/tag “blog” and in subsequent pages show only those with the category: “recipes” or category “photos”? Thanks for your help!
