• I’m running a Danish website where many of my users have the non-english letters in them (?, ? and ?), and since WordPress doesn’t support using these letters in user names, I’m having a bit of a problem.

For example I have a user who’s named Anni Alb?k, but she’s forced to have the username Anni Albaek.
The problem is that that the Author Image plugin shows the username and not just the name of the user on my frontpage (see example here: https://livikristendom.dk/2011/giv-en-hand/ )

Is there a way to show the name of the user and not the username?

    Thanks
    Bo

Just read my post, and I can see that it may be hard to understand what exactly I’m talking about so I’ll try to explain it a bit better:

The “user name” is not to be mistaken for the users name. The username in my example above is “Anni Albaek”, but her name (first and last name) within her WordPress user profile is “Anni” “Alb?k”.

What I’d like is the Author Image widget to show her first and last name instead of her username.
