Hi team, how does one display a ‘for members only’ message on for example, buttons? I am able to restrict content, but would like to keep the layout visible to public and only restrict the popups per button click.
Case: User visits product page (this is not a e-comm site), reads up on product, then wants to see more on each product feature, clicks on button ‘SHOW FEATURES’ and gets message ‘please sign up to access info’, from where user is directed to sign-up page and follows the process. The features are shown as popups once the user has signed up.
The SHOW FEATURES button should not be hidden (like regular locked content) but visible in order to prompt signups. Hope it makes sense ??

    *SOLVED*
Found the solution hidden in the comments of a YouTube Tutorial by Stranger Studios:

All you need to do to access this feature, is navigate to your WP Dashboard > Memberships > Settings > Advanced Settings. Make sure your ‘Show excerpts to non-members’ is set to ‘Yes’ and ‘Filter Searches and Archives’ is set to ‘ No – non-members will see..’

When a non-member stumbles across your content, they will now see a box prompting them to sign up for their membership.
