How to show link in Carousel Image Caption on mobile view?

The link seems to be displayed on Mobile, on my end. Have you managed to solve the issue by yourself?

Yes. I did. I added the following code in the image description.

When I click READ ARTICLE below It’s really about the here and now. Nov. 26, 2009 (top right image in carousel)

Instead it open the carousel slideshow (https://www.ginapiccalo.com/projects/the-atlanta-journal-constitution/#jp-carousel-864), and then I must click READ ARTICLE again to actually go to https://www.ginapiccalo.com/journalism/the-atlanta-journal-constitution-page/its-really-about-the-here-and-now-the-atlanta-journal-constitution/#readarticle.

In the Caption, I have the following.

Could you try to remove the anchor, and link to the article directly?

Since you do not really use the Carousel in this case, it might be easier to insert multiple single images instead of using the Gallery feature, and link each image to a different article.

I created a Page https://www.ginapiccalo.com/journalism/the-atlanta-journal-constitution-page/, and the links do work, but the formatting is wrong. the last image wants to go to the right.

I did try the link without #readarticle, but it did not change the fact that the READ ARTICLE link does not work from the Project page https://www.ginapiccalo.com/journalism/the-atlanta-journal-constitution-page/its-really-about-the-here-and-now-the-atlanta-journal-constitution/#readarticle

I’m sure READ ARTICLE worked from the project page and in Carousel one week ago.

All “Read article” links now seem to work. I assume you’ve found the source of the problem on your site?

The text READ ARTICLE now goes directly to the pages, but how can I get the images to do this as well? Currently, the default is for the carousel to show the slideshow when you click the images.

Also, could you help me add a like margin for the image captions in the slideshow for the mobile view?

If you want the images to link to a specific page when you click on them, you will have to insert each image separately; WordPress galleries do not allow you to link gallery images to specific pages.

The gallery image sizes are not handled by Carousel, but by your theme. You can check the existing gallery styles and apply them to single images as well.

Can anyone help me set-up a link on an image in a carousel to click through to another page. On my home page I have a carousel that I am now showing offers on. WordPress Galleries do not allow you to specify custom links for images within a gallery. To do so, you will have to insert each image separately, by following the instructions here:
