How to replace ‘Publish Date’ in meta description with ‘Last Updated’ date?
-
Hi,
Is it possible to set the post date to updated date in search results? The date is shown in the beginning of the meta description, I think the old article will affect the user’s click intention.
I looked into the source code of one of my web pages, I found that Yoast SEO plugin inserts the following meta information to my post:
<meta property=”article:published_time” content=”2016-06-15T12:20:00+00:00″ />Apparently it’s this information tells search engine the date of my post.
Is it possible to remove this meta information?
Thanks!
