How to Show Last Updated Date in GeneratePress Theme?

I tried adding these to “Customizing: additional CSS”, but it is not doing anything either.

.posted-on .updated {
display: inline-block;
}

.posted-on .updated + .entry-date {
display: none;
}
.posted-on .updated:before {
content: “Last Updated “;
}

Thank you. I tried it but it didn’t really work

I installed the code snippet plugin, select add new, and added
add_filter( ‘generate_post_date_show_updated_only’, ‘__return_true’ );

to a new document, and clicked on “save and activate”. There was no change on my site. What did I do wrong?

The date doesn’t seem to be appearing at all on your website. Are you removing it/disabling it somehow? Maybe via a code snippet or via the Customizer (if you have our pro version)?

The date is showing now.
How do I add “Last Updated” to the beginning of the date?

.updated-date:before {
    content: "Last updated: ";
}
