How to show full blog/post with image like Sydney Demo

  • Hello,

    I’m using Sydney Theme. When a user clicks on “News” I want the blogs/posts to appear in full, like the Sydney demo (image, then title, then text).
    Any advice either in page set-up or using code to achieve this?

    The post’s image is retrieved from the featured image. There is no other particular setup than that.

    That works. But how to align with text?
    In this case, the text is aligned left. I’d like the feature image to align left as well.

    To have the same layout as the Sydney theme:
    Use Featured Image on the posts page (as you said)

    AND

    Under Customizer
    Blog Options:
    Layout;
    Blog layout–Classic

    It works!
