How to show filtered posts on posts page

I am trying to customize which blogs get shown on the blog page based on categories or certain filters. However, it appears I cannot filter blogs. Instead, all blogs are shown. Is it possible to do this? I am currently using the free version of Mesmerize. Does the pro-version have this feature?
