How to show excerpt posts in front page

At first I use Gateway theme on wordpress.com since early this year. I choose front page to show latest posts in excerpts and everything is fine.

Now, I’m trying to use www.remarpro.com. I installed gateway theme ver. 1.2.31 and started trying to choose the same thing by select | Setting -> Reading -> Summary | but it still show full posts in front page.

What can I do to solve this problem?
