How to show downloads instead of post in theme?

  • Hello there ,
    When I create a new download , the download goes to site.com/downloads/ but I want to show it in homepage instead of posts ! Is this possible? I’m using themedd-1.0.7 wordpress theme .

  • How do you have your homepage configured as in your site? If you’re using a custom page for the homepage, you can create a Shortcode block and then use the [downloads] shortcode to display the latest downloads available.

    no actually it didn’t work . I want to show my downloads on the home page instead of posts ! my website does not have any posts and are just downloads ! do I need a custom index.php to show my last 10 downloads on the home page?

    I was able to solve that problem however there is another problem , EDD shows [edd_profile_editor] as plain text ! please see the picture . can anyone help with this?

    I have checked your screenshot. Can you please tell me where and how you have added the plugin shortcode edd_profile_editor ?
