    How do I create a child menu like your demo page: https://demo.alxmedia.se/hueman/demo/layouts/child-menu-right/

    I tried using a “Custom Menu” widget, but it does not format or display like the one in the demo.

    Also, is there a way to create a page like the post gallery format? I would like to create pages with slider galleries like the post gallery format does.

    Thanks for your awesome contribution to the WP community! This is a great theme.

  • To create Child menu pages like that, select Page Template on the right side when you edit the page, and pick “Child Menu”. This needs to be done for all pages that you want to show the childmenu. The pages also needs to be threaded properly to show like that, so that they are children/grandchildren of a parent page.

    No in-built way to create sliders on pages currently.

    Thank you!

    Hi Alexander,

    Congratulations for your great theme!

    I would like to ask you a question: I have made a child theme to modify a template, this one is “child-menu” page. I only have just copied it in my child theme folder, and I have changed the name of the template to “child_menu_new” (and I wrote the new name into the php file) but the problem is when I select this sheet then the menu disappears… Oeps!!!

    Have you any idea of what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks a lot!!!

    Hi – thanks! In sidebar.php you will find:

    <?php if( is_page_template('page-templates/child-menu.php') ): ?>

    You need to update that as well, to what your filename is, with a child theme.

    Thanks a lot Alexander!!!
    I′m rookie with wordpress … So I have changed it and finally… it′s running!!!! ??
