How to show captions in image browser

    Hello,

    I’ve searched high and low, and can’t figure out how to show captions for images in the Basic ImageBrowser.

    I’ve gone to Manage Galleries, and entered Alt & Title Text and Descriptions for the images.

    By default, no captions are shown.

    I tried the templates, which of course, is not recommended.

    This one, “NextGEN: imagebrowser-exif.php”, gives me what I want, but also produces a table of Meta data which I don’t want.

    Do I really have to create a template just to get captions? Or can one be downloaded? It seems like it would be a popular feature.
