How To Show Blog Posts After Setting Static Page

    Ok I think the title pretty much sums up my question.

    I have set my static page to show the products I am promoting, see: https://ForwardFacingCarSeat.org

    My question is how do I then make a link in the footer for SEO purposes to show the additional blog posts I need to add to fill up the sight to give it more Google love?

  • You can use widgets, or use exec-php and pase the wordpress loop in your page that you have set as static.

    Or do it the other way by pasting the HTML from your static page in index.php.

    Hi dheerajsl,

    Thanks for the quick response but I’m afraid that went right over my head. I’m not sure about using widgets because I’m using single column layout without a sidebar.

    I’m confused because I have some posts and the page I want to set as my home page already published. So am not sure how to get the existing posts to show if I pick the static page option for a home page.

    This will only be possible through template edits. How comfortable are you with editing templates and php?
