How to show all font & text styling options by default

  • Is there a way to always show the complete set of font/text styling options when editing text? Right now I believe the theme I’m using hides options I use like letter spacing and line spacing. The only way to turn them on is by clicking the 3-dot icon. I would like all the font & text styling options always visible, but I’ve not found a method of doing this. Is there a workaround?

    And I’m so grateful for your help. I’ve not tried this yet, but let me first understand how this works. I’m working in the WP block editor, and I’m asking it to show my all the font styling options. Why would this go in the css of the website? I’m trying to create a change in the WP backed GUI. Would the code not be better placed in a WP interface configuration file, assuming one exists? My level of WP building knowledge is at 50% — I’m not a programmer, but I can hand-code a website easily (think: Homesite, Dreamweaver, etc)

    I have hidden the response from @kerryangle since it seems to do he very opposite of what you’re asking for.
    CSS is the language that styles your website for visitors. And the code suggested would tell the browser to disregard any text style settings applied to any specific piece of text.

    Which theme are you using? It may be limiting your choices.
    Also: WordPress has two different types of themes, New “block themes” behave very differently from “Classic themes”.
