    Dear support team,

I am a happy user of your good plugin.

However, upon ?User Email Changed – For Admin“ notifications, the shortcode [user_email] will just refer to the user’s OLD email address.

Is there a way to display the user’s NEW (changed) eMail address?

    Thanks and best regards

    Michael

    Hi @mitfi,
    Thanks for your message.

This isn’t currently possible but i’ll add to to my roadmap as something to investigate.

    Hi bnfw,

    Thanks!
I was wondering wether I could program a shortcode myself through adding a filter (as suggested in your docs) and providing through ?args“ the user_id to the shortcode in order to return the (new) user_email.

    Would that work?

    Best regards

    Hi @mitfi,
Yes, you can certainly try that.
I woulnd’t be able to provide support for your shortcode but if you need to add something before I’ve had a chance to add it, you can certainly do that.

    Hi bnfw,

I made it and it works (almost…).

Unfortunately, I receive the old eMail-address as well…

This indicates that the eMail notification obviously comes at a point in time when the data is not yet properly changed in the WP database ;-(, hence, even my shortcode retrieves the old information.

So, I have to wait for your solution, even that you indicate this topic ?resolved“;-).

    Best regards

    Michael

    Hi @mitfi,
In that case, it may not be possible but I’ll see what I can do.

It’s currently on my list of things to investigate for July.

    Hi bnfw,

    that‘s great!

Indeed, it would – if possible – be beneficial, if both (old and new) eMail addresses could be accessible.
(Remark: the related standard WordPress eMail uses both in one message.)

    Best regards

    Michael
