How to shoenHome Page and not Welcome Post

    Hi,

    I have the latest standard WP and so far it is all working fine as a Page not Post site. No posts, no comments.

    I have crated a Page which I call Home and I want this to be the first Home Page seen.

    At the moment the first page shows the Welcome Post.

    How can I use my Home Page as the first page to be seen?

  • In your dashboard, go to Settings – Reading. Then under “Front page displays“, select “A static page”, and from the Front page dropdown, select the page you called Home.

    It doesn’t really matter what you select under Posts page (since you don’t have any posts).
