how to setup W3 Total Cache Plugin

    Hello! I’ve read that article https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/243-speed-up-the-hueman-theme-how-to-setup-w3-total-cache-plugin and I have a question:
    is that article relevant? can I use these suggestions on how to configure w3 total cache?
    especialy enabling of Database cache and Object Cache on shared hosting (there is a contradiction on Namecheap site (which my site is hosted on)

    if Object caching and Database caching are on, they will trigger resource usage spike without any improvement of the page speed. These caches can be enabled if your WordPress website is hosted on a VPS or Dedicated server only.

    in addition, when configuring JS and CSS minify settings, which theme should I select – hueman or hueman-child(active)?
    and finaly, gmetrix shows a high-priority problem:

    Make fewer HTTP requests
    This page has 12 external Javascript scripts. Try combining them into one.
    This page has 6 external stylesheets. Try combining them into one.

    I have no idea what is this and how to fix that.

    The documentation is posted as a guide and uses only some common features of the plugin.

    You will need to contact plugin’s support to assist in troubleshooting your object and database caching issue.

    in addition, when configuring JS and CSS minify settings, which theme should I select – hueman or hueman-child(active)?

    You should select hueman theme because javascript files are from hueman theme. I do not know if it’s possible to select both parent and child theme if you have javascript files included in your child theme, you will need to clarify with plugin support.

    You will not see those gtmetrix suggestion after minifying your scripts.
