    Hi,

    I used Wise Chat Pro a few years ago. At that time, the one to one chat didn’t work well. I want to understand how we can setup one to one private chats. There may be a shortcode to enable one to one private chat. For example, I want customers to be able to contact the sellers from product details page. Maybe there is a shortcode like this ( just adding this as an example ), “[wise_chat user_1 = ‘user_1_id’ user_2=’user_2_id’ ]”.

    Can you please explain in details? I may purchase the pro version after I am sure something like this is possible.

    They should see the history of their messages in the Inbox or Messages page.

    Let me know if something like this is possible.

    Hello @msshohan

    Wise Chat is basically a chat where users talk in channels. Additionally, in Pro they may open a private channel to other users. In order to do this they must click username they want to talk to on the users list. This implies that you need to enable the users list and private messaging:

    [wise-chat show_users="1" enable_private_messages="1"]

    Wise Chat stores chats history inside the plugin only. It does not expose messages on any profile page.
