In organization where I work, we want to have couple of websites which cover different ‘brands’ – which include personalities, event serials, projects, publishing label, etc. They often intertwine, so we are ending up duplicating (multiple times) content on different sites.

Is it possible to setup a network of (or one) wordpress installation/s where different domains, with different themes and articles/posts would share some of the pages/posts? So if a shared page would be changed/edited, this change would be reflected on all sites that are sharing this page?

Or is the underlaying architecture of wordpress not concieved in a way that would allow for such configuration.

    Many thanks for any thoughts.

    That. Kind of.

WordPress Multisite, which lets you make multiple separate sites, works under the assumption that you’re going to have multiple separate sites :/

Now CAN you do this? Yes, but it comes with limitations and choices. There are pliugins that let you embed post content in other posts, which is one way. Another is to make your shared posts on a shared site, and have everyone link back.
