How to setup “iDeal” as payment method?

    Hello,

    I have just called the Stripe Support Team because iDeal does not work as a payment method in my WooCommerce shop. I get the following error message on the checkout page:

    “There was an unexpected error while processing your request. Please contact us via https://support.stripe.com/contact if the error persists.”

    Stripe Support couldn’t help me and said I should contact WooCommerce Support. Can someone help me here in the forum?

    Thank you for this information! Actually I would prefer to just use one payment provider, in this case it would be stripe. If there is any other solution for this problem I would appreciate if you could tell me. Thanks a lot!

    Hi there,

    thanks a lot for your support!

    I finally figured out that the issue with iDeal payment was a missing/wrong country field at the checkout page. For iDeal and Sofort it is necessary that there is a country code connected to the payment method.

    Hope this information could help other people as well ??
