How to setup a custom profile photo for authors?

I tried your plugin but could not get to setup custom profile photos for authors. The photo just doesn’t upload using the WP dashboard -> User Settings and neither could I use an existing picture from the media library.

The problem with using Gravatar is I cannot get every author to return to the site and login to update their profile pic. Worse still, not everyone knows what a gravatar is and hence dont have one.

Since its a live site, I had to switch back to my working solution (was trying to migrate to your plugin). So I cannot show you the empty gravatars. But I’d be interested to know if there are configuration settings that I may be missing out on.
