How to set up Reset Password option

  • I`m having trouble setting up the Reset Password function.

    The email comes in but the link to <strong>Click here to reset your password</strong> needs to go somewhere. Now it goes to …./lost-password/ page.

    I have a page for …/lost-password/ but of course there`s no content. Is there a shortcode or element to add somewhere?

    The Free vs Premium says, only Premium has “Reset Password within form”. Does that mean the free version doesn`t have a Reset Password function ready to use?

    Sorry for the late response.
    If you’re a woocommerce user, reset password functionality is taken care by woocommerce, it will take you to its reset password form. If you don’t see any page, make sure your lost-password page is setup from the woocommerce settings.

    If you want user to reset password within popup then its part of a paid version.

    The problem was with WC.

    Also you have a paid plugin, User Verification for Woocommerce

    Can Login/Signup Popup and “User Verification for Woocommerce be used together?

    For example, with Login/Signup a New User registers with UserName, PW, and Confirm PW, …but can`t Login until User Verification is completed?

    If so, could you advice?

    I`ve seen sites with this type of Registration, after entering Username, PW, and Confirm PW, after clicking “Register” the site says…

    “We have created an account for you. You will receive an activation email within 5 minutes. Please click the link in order to activate your account.”

    Just one thing to confirm…

    “Login/Signup Popup” has PASSWORD & CONFIRM PASSWORD fields in Manager Registration, and by default User “Verification for Woocommerce” only has 1 PASSWORD field showing

    Is there a way to add that extra CONFIRM PASSWORD in the User Verification plugin?

    I didn`t see any options in the screenshots of the Config pages or in the demo.

    Also in the Demo I noticed 2 emails are sent
    “Email Verification on Signup account has been created!”
    and
    “Please verify your email”

    Seems strange to have 2 emails…can the “”Email Verification on Signup account has been created!” be disabled?
    (If you prefer I can move this discussion to your website)
