How to set up recurring payments trial periods with recurring

G’day Dandydahlia,

That sort of thing is a bit difficult with the free version of this plugin. It’s really set up more for simple recurring payment donation forms.

I’m close to releasing a pro version which uses the Feeds model that other Gravity Forms payment add-ons have, and that is much more likely to meet your needs. If you like, I can let you know when that’s ready; should be sometime next week or so.

In the meantime I’m trying to test out the form – Can you please point me in the right direction – or a link – as to where I find full installation instructions?

I’ve got lots of questions e.g where do I find what to put in the “Recurring Amount Label” and I’m sure you’ve got help docs somewhere I just can’t find them ??

If you put nothing in the Recurring Amount Label, it uses its default which is “Recurring Amount”. You can put “Donation” or “Subscription Fee” there if you prefer. All the labels have default values if you don’t set them.

I’m afraid that doco for the Recurring Payments in this plugin is pretty thin at present. I’m building a website with doco for both the free and pro versions, and that will explain things better. Until then, please just try it for yourself.
