    Hi

Everything is working fine with the form however I can’t set up how to receive emails to my email address.

I tried to send test emails but they never arrive. Also watched a lot of videos how to set it up but on the videos I can see one more option which is not visible on my dashboard. See printscreen here

Can someone help me where I have to input my email address if I would like to receive emails sent by visitors from my website?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Any help on this ?

Had the the same issues, it sure is not straightforward how to get it to work but then again it’s for free so can’t complain ??

    Here is what you do:

    1) select form you want to edit
    2) click on Email & Actions
you very likely will not have anything there if yes, you still have to edit it
    3) click on: Add New
    4) For Action name: put there whatever you like
    5) For type: select EMAIL
    6) FROM NAME: click on field and it should pick one of the IDs
    7) From Address: this is important part You need to select existing working email, this is email where all entries will be sent
    8) you can leave TO and SUBJECT blank
    9) for: Email Message click on INSERT ALL FIELDS

    done, save it

Then again add another action from drop down menu this time: SUCCESS MESSAGE.
You don’t need to change anything there, just save it

    Done, form should work

If it is still not working you might want to install plugin which could check if your WordPress Install can actually sent an email. Sometimes it might be blocked by web hosting company and you will need to get them to help you with that. This is actually what i’d do first before you waste your time with figuring out what is wrong with Ninja forms ??

Hello, I had the same problem, just resolved it thanks to this thread, but with one majore difference from milkod2001’s post:

The Ninja Forms should have already 3 default actions set up inside Settings page:
    – Email the Admin
    – Email the user
    – Success message

The “Email Admin” action is actually the one where you set up to recieve the notification about the message that was sent to Ninja Form, and recieve it on your own e-mail. Here

you need to fill the TO field

with the e-mail address where you want to recieve the notification.
In my case it only works if that e-mail address is the one created specifically on the server which hosts the WordPress installation, it won’t work if it is my private address. So I just added the forwarder on my server to fetch any incoming e-mails to that address.

    Hope this helps.
