    Hi

Once I have setup your plugin and connected Facebook to Woocommerce website, HOW can I set up the Checkout to go to website for payment

Therefore from what I am reading, most people set up the Catalogue and Commerce store in Facebook/Instagram and then allow people to SHOP and you can REDIRECT Customer to WEBSITE at some point.

I do NOT know where that setting is ?

Can anyone help please so I can COMPLETE the setting so customer can finish their purchase through the Woocommerce website?

Not sure how to do this.

    Thanks
    Kristin

    Hi @kristinubute

You’ll have to remove the asset ( shop ) from the Business Manager if you do not want to allow users to checkout from within Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Marketplace. Here is a support page to help manage your assets:

As long as the shop is not added there, the shop will only allow customers to “View on website” when they are viewing a product.

    Hi

I noticed that your plugin AUTO links the products to the WEBSITE Woocomerce which is what I wanted .. I didn’t know that it was going to do it automatically.

Does that usually happen nicely like that, OR most times we have to edit it ?

Currently it is doing “VIEW ON WEBSITE” to view a product, I don’t mind that at all.
Is that what most people do , OR am I supposed to do it differently if I want people to check out on the client website Woocommerce ?

You mentioned: As long as the shop is not added there, the shop will only allow customers to “View on website” when they are viewing a product.

My question – Is that normal to do it this way, OR best to do other way where people can view the actual product on Facebook and REDIRECT to SHOP page ONLy when clicking on buying ?

    TO Clarify:
IF I was to ALLOW customers to checkout on Facebook or Instagram, then it doesn’t redirect to Woocommerce website at all, is that correct ? They then pay online somehow via Facebook and Instagram ?

    ALSO to clarify:
If I have it as “VIEW ON WEBSITE” ….
Can we still TAG products in the Facebook SHOP in Facebook & Instagram ?
That is my main purpose, so as long as I can still tag individual products that are in my Facebook Catalogue, on Facebook & INstagram posts whether paid or free posts. That is what I am aiming for …

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks

It should for those that are Sync and Show. You can exclude products or categories from showing under the Sync option in Marketing > Facebook, or individually select to Not Sync in the individual products’ Facebook area.

My question – Is that normal to do it this way, OR best to do other way where people can view the actual product on Facebook and REDIRECT to SHOP page ONLy when clicking on buying ?

They do view ‘the product’ on Facebook – it pulls in the images, description, and price of the product. Any time the product is updated, it will initiate a fresh sync request for that product to be updated in Facebook, so it is updated in real time. If they are interested in purchasing, they then click the View on Website button which will help facilitate the purchase.

At this time the Facebook Pay option (to pay on the site) is not set to incorporate with the plugin; it is something the developers are working on to be able to link to buy solely on Facebook. When they release that, it will be in the updates to the plugin.

If I have it as “VIEW ON WEBSITE” ….

Tags on products will be synced to Facebook. You can exclude them in individual products. More on that is here.

    Hope this helps!
