How to set up a portfolio – Gallery Template

    I’m trying to set up a portfolio / gallery, but cannot get the Gallery Template to work. I have looked through the knowledge base and cannot find anything there either.

    Ideally I’d like to set something up to show case my photography and fine art images. So for example a gallery on Landscapes with a group of relevant images underlying it. I’d also like to be able to add in some text detailing location, exif data etc. Is this possible using the Gallery Template or am I better off using a specialised plugin? Any ideas?
