• I’d like to set up contact forms that launch in a pop up window when the user clicks on a button. Can someone please recommend a plugin(s) that would allow me to do this without knowing code?

    Clarion Technologies,

Thank you for your suggestions. Of these, Popup Contact Form came the closest to what I want. However, it doesn’t offer any options for editing the form or the button.

Here is the page I’m currently working on

(Ideally I’ll create a separate form for each of my service pages as I build them.)

By reading other posts I was able to cobble together a popup form using Easy FancyBox and Custom Contact Forms. The problems I have with this solution are (a) I really don’t understand how Easy FancyBox works, I just copied and pasted some code I found, and (b) I still don’t know how to make it launch from a button instead of text. I Installed MaxButtons in hopes of solving that problem, but I can’t figure out how to make it launch the FancyBox.

I also tried Popup Maker, but when I try to set up the “trigger” it asks about cookies and css (of which I know nothing).

PopUp by Supsystic looks promising, but I don’t think it works with the Custom Contact Forms plugin.

@thewebsitewordsmith – Just wanted to jump in here since you mentioned Popup Maker (<– the author). I would be happy to help with your setup, we are definitely the most capable plugin for that scenario, and our new interface is a bit confusing at first which is something I hope to address over the next few updates with better labeling, but as you mentioned you wanted to trigger on a button I will ad this, your button could be created in one of over a dozen ways, hard for anyone to know and provide the exact solution, that is why we provide 5 different ways to do so, depending on your situation, no way around that if you want a plugin that can work in any situation.

The CSS selectors are an advanced option and can be left blank, you can even use our Shortcode Button on the editor to insert a popup trigger with no code, just choose which popup and hit insert, even there CSS classes are optional if you would like to add them to match your themes buttons. Popup Maker will do the job no matter how your site is set up.

@daniellser, thank you for your reply. Finally, I’m making some progress.

I was able to use your editor to create my form.

I then used the SiteOrgin Button Widget to create a button. It allowed me to select the popup from a drop down menu for the destination URL (yay, no code required). But it’s opening a new page, not just a pop up. So when I close the form, I’m on a blank page.

Again, the page I’m working on is https://mystiquemarketing.net/marketing-consulting/
