Hey Scott! Yeah it’s working! Thanks so much!

https://byotmoot.ca/registration/ < Here’s the page where we’ve set up the form for our registration. it’s for a Scouting camp in September. I submitted a request to get the pro up grade as it will make it a bit easier for the youth to register if we can pass values to PayPal from Contact Form 7..

I look forward to hearing from you.
    Thank you!

    Thanks,

Scott I’m haveing the same issue and both pluggins are current, although Contact Form 7, seems to be version 4.2.1, not 4.2.

    please advise

    Thank you

    Hi Karl,

I just sent you a reply to your email.

For anyone else having this problem, it should be fixed in the newest version. Please make sure you are using the newest version of Contact Form 7 – PayPay addon.

I just tested it with Contact Form 7 4.2.1 and it is working.

    Thanks,
    Scott

I’ve just sent an email through the contact form on your own website, but i may better post this in here as well.
Nope, the PayPal thing does not show anywhere on the frontend

I just installed the current version an hour ago and WP says it is compatible with my latest WP version, also gone through the plugins settings and checked the “Enable Paypal on this form” box in the contact form 7 plugin settings as well as entering an item description and price – nothing from it to be seen in the forms code and nothing in the front end, looks like you have some issues with this thing, how can i resolve it please??

Oh, yes, i also just freshly installed Contact form 7 so it would also be the latest version of that …

Oh, now i get it, there is no PayPal thing mentioned on the form itself at all, bummer, that’s one thing you SHOULD and MUST mention in your description or installation info for crying out loud!!

It looks just like any regular contact form – but once the send button is clicked it goes to the PayPal payment page, so the plugin works just fine, but the contact forms need a note put in place somewhere that points this out CLEARLY to the user, somehow i am surprised no one thought of that as part of the plugin already, or at least as bit of info to the installation, eieiei

    Hi Rudme,

Sorry for the confusion. In the first sentence on the description page, it says “When a contact form is enabled with PayPal, and the user submits the form it will send the email as usual, then auto redirect to PayPal.”

Regarding the users perspective, I don’t want to force wording in the form. You as the form creator can add some text like “After you click submit you will be directed to PayPal”. This way form creators can have more control over their form, not to mention if they are using a different language.

    Thanks,
    Scott
