How to set the default to close

    Hello All – Does anyone know how to set the default for the FB Messenger plugin to “Closed” and only open upon a user click?

    Hi,

    You can follow our developer documentation to make advance changes. The wordpress plugin doesn’t provide a direct way to modify that. If you are comfortable with directly editing the wordpress html/css files, you can set the greeting_dialog_display to hide.

    Hi,
    No problem in adding greeting_dialog_display=’hide’ to the div in facebook-messenger-customer-chat.php – but do you have suggestion to make a nicer user change that will not be overriden at the next plug-in update.
    Please consider to add this very important setting to your option – or set the greeting_dialog_display=’hide’ as standard.
    The current implementation is to agressiv for most returning customers.

    Nothing has worked – Decided not to use FB Messager
