    Hello,

thanks for this plugin, it’s very easy to use and actually full of functionalities!

unfortunately I’m having an issue with paypal as it’s thinking that my products are physical products and it holds the payments waiting for a shipping code or something like that.

they said that I should set my checkout code to mark the payment as “for services” because at now they see them as “for physical products”.

i’ve always had the shipping costs to 0 on the admin settings, so I don’t know where else I could declare that the product is a service..

do you have any advice regarding this issue?
    Thank you in advance!

Hi piccart unfortunately this plugin does not cater for your requirement. You might consider the following plugin.

thanks for your reply and suggestion!

though, I am a developer and I can code, so I was thinking if there is a way for me to hack the cart html in order to pass that info to paypal.

is it done by an hidden field?

    thanx for your help!

This plugin won’t charge for any shipping unless you tell it to or you have configured some PayPal profile based shipping.

Do you have any profile based shipping configured in your PayPal account?

Yes, you can customize the plugin and add hidden input fields yourself.

    hello and thank you!

no, I haven’t configured any shipping in paypal profile.

anyway, my problem is not that it charges the shipping. in fact it doesn’t charge anything, as shipping is set to 0 in your plugin admin. so that’s fine for me.

but paypal sent an email an told me I have to set the products to be “services” instead of “physical products”, because otherwise they will treat the payment as needing shipping and they hold the payment waiting for a sort of shipping code.

which hidden field can I add in order to tell paypal that the product is a service and not a physical product?

    thanks!

I don’t know of a hidden field for service. Please ask them what this field is.

@piccart you could also try the Pro version of this plugin. It caters for your request without having to hack the code and much more.

    Hello guys!

just wanted to close this ticket because at the end of the day it turned out that paypal gave the wrong suggestion.

the money were on hold because I’ve received them before verifying the email, but when I asked them they said the problem was the delivery thing. though there was no delivery issue, and I assume neither nothing that I should have added to my form.

thanks for your help anyway, and thanks for your plugin!

    Cheers!
