    Some of my products are NEW (<90 days old), some are IN PREP (not ready) and some are SOLD. Some exist that meet all three criteria. I have the labels set (deliberately) to occupy the same space. How do I set priority?

    Logically, SOLD > IN PREP > NEW. I have this order set in the Advanced Label settings page with SOLD Order = 0, IN PREP order = 1, NEW order = 2

    However the labels don’t follow this order. A SOLD and IN PREP item shows as IN PREP (it should show as SOLD).

    It looks as though the Woocommerce SOLD and NEW settings trump any order set in Berocket

    Hi,

    Please provide your site url with all labels enabled so that I could check the issue.

    This page is a good example. Category is IN PREP (so all items are IN PREP), one item is SOLD and a couple are also NEW

    https://www.bn1studio.co.uk/product-category/in-prep/

    I inverted the label order last night during testing to see if it changed matters. But it seems that SOLD and NEW override any label order

    Current label order is

    IN PREP = 0
    NEW = 1
    SOLD = 2

    Position for all is On image ( Right )

    Conditions for all are simple: Category equals (category name)

    Thanks

    Please open labels for edit. Tab Position. Are you using Better Position?

    “But it seems that SOLD and NEW override any label order” – All labels are shown just one labels are under another so you don’t see them. We have Better Position option with Lines. You can select there how labels on the same line should be showing.

    Also IN PREP text is too wide for the label. Please open Style tab in the label edit page and make width and height 60px and line-height about 62px.

    Other option for the IN PREP:
    – open label for edit
    – tab Style, field Line height = 16(+/- depends on the font size)
    – tab Position, field Paddings Top = 10(or more)

    This will make space between text lines smaller and add padding for the first line.

    Thanks for replying. I don’t know what “better position” is. There is an option for it under General but no information on what it does

    “We have Better Position option with Lines. You can select there how labels on the same line should be showing” – can you explain this?

    Thanks

    The other query is why the text size is much larger when displayed in Safari when compared with Chrome on a Mac

    I am sure it’s a CSS thing but not sure how to solve it

    Maybe I should start a new thread for this?

    1) Please open all 3 labels for edit. There open tab Position. Better Position option should be on. If it is off please turn it on and save the labels.

    2) Please open all 3 labels for edit. There open tab Style. Set Font size = 12

    Don’t set other paddings.

    OK, all this has achieved is to move all the labels to where I don’t want them. How do I get the label at teh top right corder of the image, as it was before, with better position?

    What does “Lines” do?

    What does “One by one” mean?

    If all 3 labels have set to Line 1 they will be shown one by one on the same line.
    If labels have different lines they will be shown one under another depending on line numbers starting from 1 to 10.

    Energy icons are shown on the own lines in the set position. Same can be done in 1 line.

    Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I don’t understand the settings for better position. I have reverted to better position off.

    I have found a way to prioritise the labels

    IN PREP label conditions
    Category = IN PREP
    AND
    Stock status = in stock

    NEW label conditions
    Product age => 90 days
    AND
    Stock status = in stock
    AND
    Category ≠ IN PREP

    SOLD label conditions
    Stock status = out of stock

    Labels Order option is for the better position feature. If you have 3 labels shown in the same line which one should go first/second/third? Here Order is needed.

    But if you want to show only 1 label you need to use conditions.

    OK, I want to show one label only. Looks like I have worked out the answer. I hope it helps others!

    OK, so if I understand it correctly, to display multiple labels

    ORDER sets the order in which labels appear on a line
    LINES sets which line of text the label appears on

    In my instance multiple labels make no sense so I am using conditions to set which is displayed
