How to set on home page only features post? without slider

  • I would like to show only featured post on first page. I would like to show only those post, without rest from rest categories. It is possible to do something like this? I can create category: for example “homepost”. What can I do to have those post only in fronpage??
    Design and template… GREAT!
    Please help me… I do this template for animal home of course for free. I’m not a programmer… :/
