How to set how many posts on home page

    Hi,
    How can I set how many posts to show on my home(index) page ?
    I want to make 5-10 posts then down to have “Prev 1,2,3….n Next”

    Tried from Admin->Option->Reading and i set 5 post but doesn’t work. Still all posts are on my home page.

    Version is 3.4.2 and i use this theme: Project AR2
