How to set default screen options for all users but admins?

hi all, I’m using a template that allows users to publish their personal pages and I’m tryng to keep the publishing interface as simple and clean as possible. hence I’d need to toggle off some screen options which are quite confusing for a standard user (for instance “allow trackback & pingback..”, or the revolution slider ability to choose the template style,…)
so far I found these 3 plugins that should handle the issue

but unfortunately none of them worked
