    Thanks.

    Please take a look at this:
    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29600242/facebook-share-cropping-image

    As you can see, the issue is not related to FIFU plugin. Facebook crops the image as it want and there is no way to control this behavior.

    I found out a similar question on Facebook forum, but there is no answer.
    https://developers.facebook.com/community/threads/1061704407512439/

    If you get a Facebook email support, I can try to talk to them, discuss the issue and ask for a solution.

    Hi, @celebtemple.

    Featured Image Column is a completely different plugin feature. It’s not related to social sharing at all.

    If you don’t believe it, you are free to try different plugins for external featured images. Let me know if one of them works fine there.

    ok, thank you I won’t change this plugin it’s great but I need to find the way to og:image crop from the top

    I also took a look in your site. What’s happening is that your theme is cropping the images, not the plugin. You can try many different themes. Most them don’t crop the images.

    Thread Starter templederr

    (@celebtemple)

    ok thanks, I will examine the theme.

    If you problem is with Facebook sharing, as I said, we need to contact Facebook. I can talk to them if you get an email.

    About cropping in your home page, that’s a completely different thing, there are some alternatives:
    – change the theme CSS;
    – use another theme;
    – enable FIFU Settings > Same Height > Object Fit (Premium feature). But you would need to access each post individually, select the option and save. I think it’s too much work. And I don’t know many people that use this feature by the way.
