How to set colors and images for taxonomy?

  • Hello guys,
    I just saw mashable.com footer,it has taxonomy with different colors and had images for it.I Dont know how to accomplish it on my site any suggestions?

    I need the same feature for my site to represent different sports in different colors https://sportsstatus.in/dev/ plugins or tweaks anything is ok,i9 desperately need some help.
