how to set certain items for local pickup only??

  • We use flat rate shipping on our WC site.
    We want to add something such that certain products are not shipped but are local pickup only.
    Can we use shipping classes and per-product shipping to accomplish this??
    If so, how?? — and would we have to globally adjust shipping or anything on all products??
    Basically we want a category/class of “Large Items” and have them be local pickup only, we don’t mind refunding the flat rate fee if we can’t avoid charging it…
