how to set Alternative page-header-bg

  • I have been reading through the forums and have found the code to remove the page-header-bg.jpg (https://aspectsofsound.com/wp-content/themes/wallstreet/images/page-header-bg.jpg). I even went in via ftp and replaced the theme jpg with my own version, but I still have the seaside and anchor photo.

    Is there a way I can change that to my own image. I only need a single image for the whole website. Or is this something I need to purchase the pro version for?

    There is only ways you have followed to replace the header image .
    Pls clear cache and check.
    I have replaced with another image and its working fine at our end.
    Kindly again replace image located in your parent theme folder(wallstreet) >> images folder >> Replace page-header-bg.jpg image with your own image and rename the image as page-header-bg.jpg.
    Note : Make sure image extension must be .jpg

    Hello Akhlesh,

    Yes indeed! I also discovered, or I forgot, that Bluestreet is a child of wallstreet and I had to make the image change in both theme directories to ensure consistent performance.

    could you kindly tell me how i can get to the “theme directories” for wallstreet & bluestreet?? i am trying to change the seaside but no luck. downloaded wallstreet theme after blue street to seek solutions but it seems like i don’t know what i’m doing. this is my very first attempt to use word press, so i appreciate any insights from anyone. many thanks in advance!
