How to set a page for an specific language.

  • Hello..

    So I created a blog on this page and I am going to blog in English and Spanish.

    I want to add YouTube videos along with text.

    But how can I tell the search engines which language is the page for?

    And does it even matter if I tell the search engines the language when it would already have the text?

    What are you using for languages, a plugin?

    I am not using anything for languages right now.

    I am not sure if I even have to do anything on this.

    But with my little experience on websites I remember once upon a time you had to specify language on a website for the search engines to find it properly..

    I wonder if I could specified the language of a page?

    The website would be English and I want to have Spanish pages within the website.

    WordPress has language settings.

    I am trying to set specific pages to specific language rather than having everything in a single language.

    Here is what I have found so far:

    I am thinking WordPress might not have that option of changing language settings for specific pages.

    .. and I do not want to create an entire new website just to host a separate language.
