how to set a "page" as the default homepage

    I have a “page”. It’s called blog. Currently the page has the following URL

    site.com/?page_id=2

    How do I make this page’s template apply to the main default homepage?
    IE… site.com

    I am using a custom theme but I imagine the question applies if I’m using the theme or not.

  • Please go to Settings -> Reading on your admin page.

    You will find “Front page displays”.
    You can choose “A static page (select below)” and select the page you want as the homepage.
