• Hi Support-Team,

I have a problem. I have a blog where i import content from other sites via rss feed. The pages are displayed correctly and the images in the pages are loaded from the external websites and are not located on my server.

But now when i go to the homepage, i only see the category bars, but no images, because i did not use a local featured image.

Now my question is if there is a way via CSS to tell the homepage to use the image on my page which is embedded from the external site as the featured image? So i don’t have to store the image in my media library.

    Thanks a lot in advance
    Greetings seto76

  • Hey @seto76 ,

    Thank you for writing in,

Unfortunately, using CSS won’t help in problems like this. If you are using any additional plugin to import posts via RSS feed, I would suggest you contact the plugin support once as they might be able to provide you with a better solution.

CSS will not change the functionality like you want to (to use the images imported on your page as featured image), you will have to customize the theme’s code with the help of a child theme.
