How to seperate posts? It’s hard to explain in a title!

Basically i am wanting to put a dividing line in between posts as its looks a bit weird at the mo with all the posts kind of merging into each other..

Also on a different note, my theme isn’t widget enabled but accepts plugins, I dont suppose there is a plugin that makes your theme widget enabled? I would love to add loads of widgets but cant, but I love my theme and dont want to change :/
