I need to be able to test sending in the development/stage version of my site.

I can’t do it in the live/production area because I need to test something that relies on CC purchases in WooCommerce. And, this means using a fake CC to do the test. Getting fake CCs working in production/live environment opens a potential can of messy worms.

So, the ability to test in a dev/stage is critical.

I have both domain.com and stg.domain.com verified in my sender domain list on Mailpoet. But, I only see one key in my list, and it won’t verify on the stage version of my site. It is verified and running on production/live.

So, what’s the solutions to make a development/test space work with mailpoet? Thanks!

    Hi there @gardenmentor,

    Thanks for reaching out!

MailPoet can only be used on live sites for sending newsletters. If you send newsletters from a staging site you would certainly get high bounce and complaints rates which would result in getting your account suspended.

Can you please let us know what MailPoet functionality are you looking to test specifically?

    Hi there @gardenmentor,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
